Room Hire Charges
|Hourly charge for block bookings (5 weeks or more)||

Please remember to include time for setting up and clearing away within your hire time and total cost calculations as it will not be possible to access the hired room until the agreed time unless previously negotiated. In addition, the room must be vacated at the agreed time so that they are available for the next user. A charge will be levied for any time used over and above that previously booked.

Reservations and cancellations
The booking form should be completed in full and returned to the Beehive Mills Resource Centre, as soon as possible but no later than two weeks before the required date, otherwise reservation cannot be guaranteed. Please note that payment must be paid in full within 30 days of room hire. Please make cheques payable to Beehive Mills Resource Centre. In the event of a cancellation, written notice should be sent to Beehive Mills Resource Centre as soon as possible. If cancellation is received within 1 week of the booking date and re-hire is not possible, then 50% of the room hire charge will be levied.

Beehive Mills Resource Centre is a no smoking organisation. When hiring rooms please ensure that all delegates are aware that smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.
There is limited parking at the Mill, so please use public transport where possible or ask for information on local parking. The Mill is accessible for disabled people, and priority will be given for their parking should we be aware in advance of their attendance.
Beehive Mills Resource Centre will not be held legally responsible in the event of a booking being cancelled due to fire, flood, strike or other events which we have no control over.
For security reasons please ensure that all delegates sign the visitors register on arrival and departure.
Safety and Security
If the booking is a late afternoon/evening finish when Resource Centre staff are not around, hirers/group leaders are responsible for ensuring that all members of the group are off the premises (especially minors) and that windows and doors in the room and front door are closed before leaving the premises. A first Aid kit is available in the room, however it is the responsibility of hirers to ensure arrangements in respect of first aid are in place.
As an aid to monitoring footfall for our funding returns and the implementation of our Equality & Diversity Policy, we would be grateful if you could assist by asking your group to complete the Footfall Monitoring Sheets that will be left in the room. We would also be grateful for any comments your group would like to make on the Comments card which will also be left in the room.
